1.) Mafia Size
Since you can only use a number of mafia equivalent to your level grow your mafia along with your character. This should not be hard with the number of “add me” groups on both Facebook and Myspace. If you use one of these groups you should have a mafia size of 501+ in no time.
2.) Keep Leveling
Low levels in robbery situations mean trouble. The number of mafia that you can use in defense is equal to your level. More levels mean more defenders.
3.) Smoke and Mirrors
When someone sizes you up as a potential mark they are going to look at your mafia size and your number of wins versus losses. If you have a high win versus loss record a robber may think twice, especially if you are defending with a number of mafia equal to your level.
To increase your win loss ratio all you have to do is start another account with a low level character on it. Bookmark their mafia wars page and then every level use up your attacks on them. In time this will allow you to appear tougher than you are.
4.) Equipment
Get the best equipment that you can for your mafia. Do everything in your power to have the best weapons, armor, and vehicles in numbers at least equivalent to your level. Every defender needs to have the best.
5.) Property Management
I know that putting up mega casinos and hotels is tempting but it also puts a bull’s eye on your back. When you are low level or short on mafia stay away from these properties regardless of how tempting they might be.
Instead make sure that you have the maximum number of Mafia Mike’s that you can since they cannot be robbed. If you must have other properties then purchase lower value properties in mass numbers. Most robbers are looking for the big score that a casino or hotel offer. They will for the most part ignore properties at the Value-Mart and lower levels because the effort just is not worth the stamina used.
6.) Use Protection
Protecting property might look expensive but you will be happy that you bought it in the long run.
7.) Stay Clean
